"Baby Dragon" by Royal and Langnickel Engraving Art

One of the reasons I started the game room project was to take the time to investigate some of the games and toys that I've had that I never fully explored. Like the "spinning tops" I looked at before, the "Engraving Art" was a craft item that didn't work well for me the first time. I always wondered what I could do with a lot more concentration and maybe some aids like a magnifying lens.
The answer is, not bad but it takes a lot of time.
Going to the website and browsing what was available I decided on three that I thought would have the best resuls, "Baby Dragon", "Lion Gargoyle", and "Wizard".
I started with the "Baby Dragon". It took 5-6 hours and I had to break it up with no more than 45 minutes per session. Tedious is barely enough of a word. That being said, it did turn rather good. While I know my eyesight is not excellent anymore I just don't think this could be done without a magnifying aid.
I'm hoping I can finish the other 2 in the near future.
